Huckabee First Politician To Admit America Has A Sin Problem By Giacomo

Huckabee First Politician To Admit America Has A Sin Problem by Giacomo over at Godfather Politics

In the wake of the theater shooting in Aurora, Colorado, many politicians and other public figures have made comments about the incident.  Most of the liberals point to the need for more gun control while conservatives point to problems within our society as a whole.

However, former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee is the only politician or major public figure that identified the real problem behind the shootings and our culture in general.  In an interview with Fox News over the weekend, Huckabee said:

“We simply don’t know why any person would reach deep enough into the forces of darkness to decide to kill innocent people simply watching a movie.”

“I’m not attempting to disparage the attention being given to the Aurora theatre shooting.  We should all pray for the victim, their families and friends and offer our help for the physical and emotional recovery of the survivors. But the victim of a murder in a convenience store robbery or a wife who dies at the hands of a serial abuser is also precious life.”

“Ultimately, we don’t have a crime problem or a gun problem – or even a violence problem. What we have is a sin problem. And since we ordered God out of our schools and communities, the military and public conversations, you know, we really shouldn’t act so surprised when all hell breaks loose.”

Not only have we ordered God out of all major aspects of life, but the public schools teach that we are nothing more than just another animal produced by millions of years of godless evolution.  We have nothing or no one to be accountable to other than ourselves.  Survival of the fittest and the strongest rules over the weaker are taught as nature’s way.

‘In God We Trust’ Or ‘To God We Turned Our Backs’ By Giacomo

‘In God We Trust’ Or ‘To God We Turned Our Backs’ by Giacomo over at  Godfather Politics

Over the past fifty years, a very vocal minority group of atheists have been systematically striving to remove every vestige of God and Christianity out of American society.  During that same time, Christians in large have sat on their butts and done nothing to stop the atheist onslaught.

However, one group is saying that enough is enough and that it’s time to stop allowing the few to dictate to the many.  Lea Carawan, Executive Director of the Congressional Prayer Caucus Foundation, has announced their plans to get the National Motto, In God We Trust, into every government public building including schools.  She explained why in a recent interview with OneNewsNow, saying,

“The reason this is important is because there is an aggressive and an intentional attempt to remove God from every vestige of our nation by people who are basically bullying the citizens to give up their rights to publicly pray and express their faith, and many feel like there’s nothing they can do about it.  We’re saying that’s not true.”

“Just like the fact that we have the right to publicly pray, we also have the right to put God up.  If we continue to allow just a few anti-God, anti-faith groups to convince us that we don’t have that right to free and public expression of our faith, we’re going to lose it. And we are a Judeo-Christian nation established with ‘In God We Trust’ as our national motto.”

I admire her intentions and wish them well, but I’m not sure the National Motto truly reflects where America’s trust is anymore.  God is no longer at the heart of our federal government.  God’s laws are readily being replaced with secular laws that attempt to justify sinful behaviors.  It seems that the more outrageously sinful a person or group of people are, they more attention they get and the more they get their way.

Georgia Gov Signs Historical Display Law Allowing Ten Commandments To Be Posted In All Government And School Buildings By Giacomo

Georgia Gov Signs Historical Display Law Allowing Ten Commandments to be Posted in All Government and School Buildings by Giacomo over a Godfather Politics

Over the past couple of decades, atheists and liberal legals like the ACLU have been systematically forcing the removal of the Ten Commandments from government buildings including public schools. They’ve used the premise of a supposed separation of church and state to rid the hallowed halls of government and education of the laws that God gave Moses on Mt Horeb (Sinai).

However, Christians and conservatives have learned from the court rulings that yanked the nails holding up the displays of the Ten Commandments out of the walls. The courts said that the Ten Commandments could not be displayed alone in schools or government buildings because it represented a religion, but if it was displayed with other documents as part of the historical display, then it was legal to do so.

In 2006, the Georgia legislature passed The Foundations of America Law and Government bill that would allow a display of historical documents in courthouses. The displays consisted of the Declaration of Independence, the National Motto, the Preamble of the Georgia State Constitution, the Bill of Rights, The Mayflower Compact, Magna Carta, a description of Lady Justice and the Ten Commandments.

The bill was challenged in court and was ruled to be a legal display since it contained various documents of historical significance and not a religious display. Since the The Foundations of America Law and Government bill stood up in court, the state legislature amended the 2006 law to expand the displays from the courthouses to all government buildings which includes schools and even prisons. Georgia Governor Nathan Deal readily signed the newly amended bill.

RU486 Abortion Pill At Center Of Idaho Trial By Giacomo

RU486 Abortion Pill At Center of Idaho Trial by Giacomo over at Godfather Politics

During the pregnancy, the female hormone progesterone plays a key role in the survival of the developing child. It causes the wall of the uterus to thicken and swell with blood vessels that are then used to provide nourishment to the fertilized egg that implants itself into the uterine wall.

Secondly, progesterone inhibits the normal muscular contractions of the uterine wall. These contractions are the monthly cramping women experience that is designed to rid the uterus of the extra lining and blood supply. Without the progesterone to reduce the cramping, the fertilized egg would most likely be shed with the rest of the uterine material.

In 1980, the French pharmaceutical company of Roussel Uclaf developed a pill designed to chemically induce an abortion within the first 49 days of pregnancy. The Roussel lab which developed the pill, had used the designation of 38486 for it during its research and trials. When the pill was released on the market, it was known as RU486 (RU for Roussel Uclaf and 486 short for 38486).

RU486 is an artificial steroid that blocks the effects of progesterone on the uterus. When taken after a fertilized egg has implanted itself into the rich uterine wall, the RU486 blocks any further effects of the progesterone. This causes the developing child to literally die from starvation and/or asphyxiation. Death can occur as fast as several hours if RU486 is accompanied by other drugs, or it can take days and weeks if taken alone. In the majority of cases, the child dies a very slow and agonize death. Additionally, the RU486 counters the anti-cramping effects of the progesterone, allowing the uterus to contract and expel the dead baby.

Although it is designed to murder unborn babies during the first trimester, in 2010 one Idaho woman took the abortion drug during her third trimester and killed her nearly developed child. Jennie Linn McCormack was summarily charged with using RU486, which she obtained via the Internet to abort a later pregnancy but the charges were eventually dropped.

Now, with the aid of an attorney, McCormack has filed a lawsuit in federal court claiming her right to an abortion had been denied. Additionally, she claims that Idaho’s newly passed statute dealing with fetal pain was unconstitutional.

As a result of her lawsuit, Federal Judge Lynn Winmill, known for his pro-abortion views, has enjoined Idaho’s first trimester law leaving any early pregnancy open to abortion. All eyes are watching this case as it may have serious consequences for pro-life efforts in Idaho and other states.

Jesus Hung On Cross With ‘Faggot’ Above His Head According To Huffington Post Writer By Giacomo

Jesus Hung on Cross with ‘Faggot’ Above His Head According to Huffington Post Writer by Giacomo over at Godfather Politics

The general theme of all liberal peoples and groups is to change and rewrite history in order to justify their sinful lifestyles. Atheists and secularists have been doing this with American history for the past several decades and now homosexuals are following in their footsteps.

For example, I wrote about Dr Susannah Cornwall, a professor at the Lincoln Theological Institute in Manchester, England who believes that Jesus was a hermaphrodite. Cornwall is a very active feminists who sees everything in the world around her as being female.

Then there is also the case where a Muslim professor is teaching that Moses was a Muslim and not a Jew and that it was the Muslims that he led out of Egypt and into the Promised Land. He also rewrites history to say that this was the first establishment of Palestine.

Now, Kittredge Cherry, a very outspoken lesbian who writes for the Huffington Post’s Gay Voices section is claiming that Jesus was a homosexual in her article Queer Christ Arises to Liberate and Heal that appeared just prior to Easter. Along with the article was a depiction of Jesus on the cross with a sign reading ‘faggot’ above his head instead of ‘Jesus the Nazarene, King of the Jews’ as described in John 19:20.

Among her lesbian ramblings, she states,

“Nobody knows for sure whether the historical Jesus was attracted to other men or felt like he was female inside. Some progressive Bible scholars do argue that Jesus had a homosexual relationship.”

At least in one section, she actually hits the nail on the head when she says that others attack her ideas as blasphemy,

Muslim Leader Calls For Destruction Of All Christian Churches

Muslim Leader Calls for Destruction of all Christian Churches in Arabian Peninsula And Obama And The World Remain Silent by Giacomo over at Godfather Politics

What do you think would happen if a prominent Christian leader called for the destruction of every Muslim mosque in the United States?

Not only would every Muslim throughout the world protest in anger, but many world leaders would join them, including President Barack HUSSEIN Obama. Muslims would react with death threats against that Christian leader and probably his family also.

But what would happen if a prominent Muslim leader called for the destruction of every Christian church on the Arabian Peninsula?

Absolutely nothing!

Barack Obama Impeachment?

With as many times the Americans have called for Obama’s impeachment, Congress finally does it now. They really are late, too late. They won’t even get a chance to use it because it is a election year.

Barack Obama Impeachment – Too Little Too Late- by Giacomo over at Godfather Politics

President Barack Obama forced the illegal and unconstitutional Affordable Care Act upon the American people, I’ve heard many citizens calling for his impeachment, but Congress failed to act until now. With only eight months left before the November general election, is it too little too late?

A resolution of impeachment (House Concurrent Resolution 107) has finally been introduced into the US House of Representatives, but not for the reasons you might have expected. Introduced by Rep Walter B Jones, Jr (R-NC), charges the president with violating the US Constitution by using offensive military force without the authorization of Congress. When Obama sent US forces into Libya, he did so without the authorization of Congress and according to Jones, this is “an impeachable high crime and misdemeanor.”

Fired JPL Creationist Employee’s Court Case Starts Today

Fired JPL Creationist Employee’s Court Case Starts Today by Giacomo over at Godfather Politics

David Coppedge worked as a high-level technical specialist for the Jet Propulsion Laboratories for fourteen years. He worked on the Cassini mission to Saturn.

David is an outspoken biblical creationist. He has his own creation website and has written prolifically on the creation – evolution issue and is well respected by other creationists worldwide.

The California Institute of Technology operates the Jet Propulsion Laboratory and were quite aware of David’s creationist views. They issued David a written warning for ‘pushing his religion’ to other JPL workers while on the job. This was followed up with a charge of harassment. Eventually, David was demoted in position and pay.

16th Vacation in 3 Years

Giacomo has a very good rant at the Obamas 16th Vacation in three years.   fiery4

16th Vacation in 3 Years by Giacomo over at Godfather Politics

The last time my wife and I took a vacation was seven years ago. Between the economy going in the tank and both of us being laid off due to financial downsizing, we have barely been able to avoid bankruptcy and foreclosure, let alone take a vacation.

My dad turned 90 last October and my mom is 86 and I haven’t seen them in the past seven years. Trust me, I want to, but I can’t afford to travel the 1800 miles to see them. And what hurts the most is knowing that I may not ever get the chance to see them again before they pass on. But by the looks of everything, it may be another year before I can even think of paying for a trip to see them.

And from what I’ve heard from a number of others, we’re not the only ones that haven’t been able to afford to take a vacation in the past few years. Some of my family, friends and acquaintances have lost their jobs and their homes.

More Challenges To Obama Eligibility

More Challenges to Obama Eligibility by Giacomo over at Godfather Politics

It seems that more and more people and groups are spurring their states to take a closer look at Barack Obama’s eligibility to run for President of the United States.

You’ve read about Sheriff Joe Arpaio of Arizona’s Maricopa County investigation into Obama’s eligibility and whether or not he will appear on the ballot for 2.5 million voters. In response, Obama got the DOJ to attack Arpaio in an effort to discredit him and remove him from office before he could announce the findings of the investigation.

Georgia also has challenged his eligibility and one judge has ruled that he is eligible. However, there is a question of the judge’s impartiality and the case has been appealed to a higher court.

Mississippi also has a case pending in the courts on Obama’s eligibility in that state.

It now appears that the state of Indiana is about to launch hearings on Obama’s eligibility and boy are they strict on eligibility.

Indiana’s Creationism Bill

Indiana’s Creationism Bill by Giacomo over at Godfather Politics

The Indiana Senate approved a bill that would have allowed creationism to be taught alongside evolution in public school classrooms. It would have been taught as an alternative theory on the origins of life.

The creationism bill then was sent over to the state House for consideration. The House revised the bill to allow the teaching of origin theories from multiple religions including Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism and Scientology.

As a result of the revision, House Speaker Brian Bosma decided to table the bill because he believed it would result in a costly legal battle. Additionally, Robert Behning, chairman of the House education committee, said that it would be quite difficult for most school districts to find teachers with the necessary knowledge of origin theories from all of the different religions.

Manhattan DA Prosecutes Law Abiding Citizens While Offering Immunity to Convicted Felons by Giacomo over at Godfather Politics

A month ago, I wrote about ex-Marine Ryan Jerome who was arrested and charged with violating Manhattan’s strict gun control laws. Ryan is a jeweler from Indiana who traveled to New York to sell over $15,000 worth of jewelry. He holds a conceal carry permit in Indiana and searched on the internet to see if his permit would be honored in New York City. His information said it was, but when he tried to legally check in his firearm at the Empire State Building, he was arrested, spent two days in jail and faces felony charges.

I learned that Manhattan District Attorney Cy Vance is still prosecuting Jerome on felony firearm violations. According to Jerome’s attorney, Vance has offered a plea bargain to reduce the charges to a Class A misdemeanor, a $1,000 fine and ten days of community service. Jerome and his attorney both vow to refuse the plea bargain and fight the charges that they believe to be unconstitutional.

While Vance continues to prosecute Jerome for acting as a responsible law abiding citizen, he turns around and offers to purchase illegal guns. The program may sound great, but Vance offers full immunity from prosecution for any convicted felon who turns in a firearm for cash.

Washington DC is Broken Because They’ve Lost Their Honor

Washington DC is Broken Because They’ve Lost Their Honor by Giacomo over at Godfather Politics

I was watching a taped seminar on marriage and family relationships and the speaker expressed the importance of honor and how the lack of it results in so many problems. He demonstrated what honor was when he pulled a damaged violin out of a case. The part that held the strings of the violin onto the body had become detached and the whole string assembly woefully hung from the neck of the violin. He then showed the audience that inside the violin was the inscription, 1773 Stradivarius. When he pointed that out, you could hear a number of people in the audience express their awe at seeing a real Stradivarius violin. He then passed the violin through the audience so they could see for themselves the inscription. The cameras followed the violin and you could see how the people so delicately held it their hands. It was obvious they treated it with great respect and something of great value, even though it was broken.

America Does NOT Want Change!

America Does NOT Want Change! by Giacomo over a Godfather Politics

In the 2008 election, Sen Obama ran on a platform of change. He promised to change how things were done in Washington and he has lived up to that one promise.

Since taking office, the changes President Obama made were not for the good of Americans, but for the good of Obama and his socialist comrades. He increases the size of the federal government and the national debt. He forced a national healthcare program on the people. He took over the student loan program. Obama has made more executive orders than any president in history and regularly bypasses Congress, setting himself up as a dictator.

He gave America change and Americans didn’t like it. In 2010, the people reacted to Obama’s change and elected a wave of conservative Republicans and regained control of the House of Representatives. They also elected a number of Republican senators, but not quite enough to regain control of the Senate. A number of states elected Republican governors.

Giacomo Shares My View On The House Republican Leadership Gutless On Holder

House Republican Leadership too Gutless on Holder by Giacomo over at Godfather Politics

Operation Fast and Furious put hundreds of guns in the hands of a Mexican drug cartel. The guns were used to murder over 300 Mexicans and US Border Patrol agent Brian Terry. The resulting scandal has reached all the way to the US Attorney General Eric Holder who lied before Congress as to his knowledge and involvement in the operation.

Since appearing before Congress, sixty-three congressmen, two senators, two governors and all of the Republican presidential candidates have demanded that Holder resign immediately. In the House of Representatives, eighty-nine congressmen have signed a no confidence resolution concerning Holder’s ability to serve as Attorney General for the nation. When you overlap the two congressional lists (resignation and no confidence), it tallies up to 101 members (just under one quarter) of the House, believe that Holder is incapable of carrying out his job as the nation’s top cop.

CNN Debate Moderator Extremely Bias

CNN Debate Moderator Extremely Biased by Giacomo over at Godfather Politics

Thursday night CNN hosted the final debate between the Republican presidential candidates prior to today’s South Carolina primary. The debate was moderated by CNN’s John King.

Throughout the debate, King’s biases shown as brightly as the spotlights blinding the candidates.

To begin with, the seating for each candidate’s staff, volunteers and supporters was arranged in what would normally be considered a reverse order. If Ron Paul and Newt Gingrich looked straight ahead they would be looking at the staff, volunteers and supporters of Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum and vice versa.

Then King went after Gingrich, asking him about his first wife and the accusations she has leveled against him. Fortunately, Gingrich was on his game and fired a salvo back at King, clearly letting him know that he was not going to allow the moderator to undermine his character.

Giacomo Questions Whether Everyone Needs Or Deserves A College Education

I am still at Godfather Politics reading and found another good post by Giacomo to recommend.

Does Everyone Deserve or Even Need a College Education- by Giacomo

When I graduated high school some years back, the general consensus was that a college education would help you get a better paying job. It was also generally accepted that not everyone could attend college nor did everyone deserve a college education.

Neither of my parents had any college education and there was no way they could afford to pay anything towards my college education. I didn’t qualify for any scholarships and student loans were not a consideration. If I wanted to go to college, I had to work and pay my own way.

Getting a college education was so important to me that I worked a variety of jobs, from flipping burgers to slinging pizza to butcher to retail sales. I worked full time and attended college full time. The hours were long and often difficult to manage, but I earned my college education and was proud of my accomplishment. Since I had to pay for my own college education, I took it seriously and didn’t waste my time and money partying or carrying on like you see happening today.

Americans Fear Four More Years of Obama Presidency by Giacomo

2012 has rolled around and the presidential election is heating up big time. At the moment, there are two big questions that most Americans seemed to be focused on:

1. Who will win the GOP nomination?

2. Can the GOP defeat Obama in November?

I’m sure we’d all like to know the answers to these questions without having to wait. But there’s another question that has been put before the American people and their response may surprise you.
