Jesus Had Two Dads And Other Gay Myths By Gary DeMar

Jesus Had Two Dads and Other Gay Myths by Gary DeMar over at Godfather Politics

It’s a little scary when people quote the Bible to support this doctrine or that type of behavior. You really need to pay attention when homosexuals use the Bible to defend all things homosexual.

Take polygamy. I’ve heard several homosexual apologists argue for homosexual marriage by claiming that the Bible permits polygamy. The Bible prohibits multiple wives in both the Old and New Testaments based on the fact that at creation god made Even for Adam (Gen. 2:24)  a man is to be joined to his wife not wives. In the New Testament, Jesus refers to this creation ordinance on regulations regarding divorce (Matt. 19:1–12). Notice what Jesus says:

“And I say to you, whoever divorces his wife, except for immorality, and marries another woman commits adultery.” (19:9)

“Wife” not “wives.”

Paul writes to Timothy regarding the qualifications of an elder. He must be the husband of “one wife” (1 Tim 3:2; see 5:9; Titus 1:6).

There is a difference between descriptive and prescriptive ethics. Descriptive ethics describe what people do without condoning the behavior. The narrator is acting as a reporter – just the facts. Prescriptive ethics is what should be done, what’s prescribed by the law.

Just because Lamech, Abraham, David, and Solomon had multiple wives does not make what they did morally right. David also committed adultery and was an accessory to murder. Is it now right to follow his example?

One lesbian Chick-fil-A “kiss-in” participant carried a sign that read:

“Hey! Jesus had two dads, and he turned out OK.”

Jesus Himself makes it clear that God is His Father: “And He said to [Mary and Joseph], ‘Why is it that you were looking for Me? Did you not know that I had to be in My Father’s house?’” (Luke 2:49). The New Testament makes it very clear that Joseph was Jesus’ adoptive father: “When He began His ministry, Jesus Himself was about thirty years of age, as was being thought, the son of Joseph, the son of Eli” (Luke 3:23).

Out Of The Mouth Of A Six Year Old

6-Year-Old Gives 10 Reasons NOT to Vote for Obama! by Gary DeMar over at Godfather Politics

Out of the mouths of babes. Maybe Liberals and so-called Independents can understand why voting for Barack Obama a second time is a bad idea if they hear it from a six-year-old. Liberals need to be treated like children. They speak in cliches. They repeat what others say. They can’t think for themselves. Adults need to be around to keep them on track so they won’t hurt themselves.

This six-year-old sounds more like an adult than most liberal adults. He’s articulate, gets to the point, and it’s hard to argue with his conclusions.

Liberals will scream “indoctrination.” Don’t make me laugh. Liberals run the government schools. The schools teach messianic government all day, every day. It’s the government that’s doing the indoctrinating. “The government will save you!” they cry.

Hey libs, there are six more like him at home. They are smart, articulate, and techno-savvy. They turned out this video in one day.

I Am Passing The Word ‘National Eat At Chick-fil-A Day’: July 25th

Support ‘National Eat at Chick-fil-A Day’: July 25th by Gary DeMar over at Godfather Politics

In response to attacks by the powerful and offensive homosexual lobby, friends of Chick-fil-A are promoting National Eat at Chick-fil-A Day on July 25th and August 1st. I’ll be there on both days. In fact, all the employees at our various businesses will be eating at Chick-fil-A the next two Wednesdays.

As is typical of the homosexual lobby, many angry messages were left on Chick-fil-A’s Facebook page, including:

“Hate mongers! Never again! Not another $ from me.”

“Goodbye Chikkk-fil-a! Your food was delicious, but I can no longer eat nuggets filled with hate!”

Of course, it’s not about hate. It’s about morality and common sense. No one is denied service at a Chick-fil-A restaurant. All types of sinners eat at Chick-fil-A as they do at other restaurants. No one asks what kind of sex they’re engaged in when an order is taken.

The folks at Chick-fil-A don’t support divorce, but they don’t refuse service to divorced couples. Divorced couples don’t boycott the restaurant because of the company’s views on biblical marriage and their support of biblical marriage seminars.

Support for Chik-fil-A is getting national attention:

“In response to the boycott threats against Chick-fil-A, Mike Huckabee, who was a 2008 presidential candidate, last week called on his radio show listeners to support the Cathy family by making July 25th National Eat at Chick-fil-A Day.

‘Imagine how clearly that message would be heard across the nation if Chick-fil-A reported record sales this Wednesday!’ said [National Organization for Marriage's’ [Brian] Brown, who has joined Huckabee in supporting Chick-fil-A day. ‘Please join me this Wednesday in supporting this courageous company, while at the same time sending a powerful message of support to every individual and every company with the courage to stand for marriage.’”

It’s amazing how it’s OK to support liberal causes, but just try to support a conservative moral cause. “Too often, those on the left make corporate statements to show support for same sex marriage, abortion, or profanity, but if Christians affirm traditional values, we’re considered homophobic, fundamentalists, hate-mongers, and intolerant,” Huckabee wrote.

I’ve started my diet to lose about ten pounds, but I’m going to break the diet on the next two Wednesdays with a chicken sandwich and some waffle fries. And I’m going to enjoy every Chick-fil-A calorie.

Liberals Keep Denouncing America While Living Off Its Greatness By Gary DeMar

Liberals Keep Denouncing America While Living off Its Greatness by Gary DeMar over at Godfather Politics

Liberals continue to disparage the greatness of America while taking advantage of everything that is great about America. In many cases liberals work overtime to overturn what is great about America and support political candidates who propose laws that are designed to unravel the very principles that made the United States the envy of the world.

In the premiere of HBO’s new Aaron Sorkin series The Newsroom, news anchor Will McAvoy, played by Jeff Daniels, was asked “what makes America the greatest country in the world.” This was his response:

There’s absolutely no evidence to support the statement that we’re the greatest country in the world. We’re seventh in literacy, 27th in math, 22nd in science, 49th in life expectancy, 178th in infant mortality, third in median household income, number 4 in labor force, and number 4 in exports. We lead the world in only 3 categories: number of incarcerated citizens per capita, number of adults who believe angels are real, and defense spending where we spend more than the next 26 countries combined, 25 of whom are allies.

In almost all the above categories, government is involved. Government schools educate more than 90 percent of school-aged children. So if educational statistics are dismal, it’s because government schools are not getting the job done.

Actually, we’re 38th in life expectancy. But there is only a four-year difference between us and Japan, the first-place finisher. America’s ranking is affected by a number of factors:

Blacks in the U.S. fared worse than whites in every county. The life expectancy for black men ranged from 59.4 to 77.2 years, with 65 percent of counties lagging the international standard by more than 50 years. Black women’s life expectancy ranged from 69.6 to 82.6, with 22 percent of counties more than 50 years behind the standard.

Once again, government is a contributing factor since a higher percentage of blacks are on some form of government assistance, and it doesn’t help that a number of government programs have devastated the black family and created pockets of welfare dependency.

Democrats Keep Donation Money From The People They Attack By Gary DeMar

Democrats Keep Donation Money from the People They Attack by Gary DeMar over at Godfather Politics

They’re like the affable but corrupt Captain Louis Renault (Claude Rains) in the film Casablanca. Rick’s Café Américain is an oasis in a political desert during World War II. Humphrey Bogart is its proprietor. Everybody goes to Rick’s as they look for ways to escape the encroaching German war machine.

When the Nazis arrive, the political intrigue begins. The Germans view Rick’s as a threat to their plan to capture the leader of the underground resistance. They put pressure on Captain Renault to close the café. He needs an excuse. Here’s the scene (see 20-second video below):

Rick: How can you close me up? On what grounds?

Captain Renault: I’m shocked, shocked to find that gambling is going on in here!

[as a card dealer hands Renault a pile of money]

Card dealer: Your winnings, sir.

Captain Renault: Oh, thank you very much.

Captain Renault: Everybody out at once!

Is The Obama Campaign Collapsing And Liberalism With It? By Gary DeMar

Is the Obama Campaign Collapsing and Liberalism With It? by Gary DeMar over at Godfather Politics

Don’t underestimate liberals. They live for politics. It’s their religion. They will lie, cheat, and steal to win an election. Prime evidence of their chicanery is the fact that the voting rolls are bloated with illegal immigrants and dead voters. “There are questions about whether 182,000 registered voters are actually US citizens and the names of more than 50,000 dead people were discovered on Florida’s voter rolls.” Then there is liberal opposition to voter ID laws. I wonder why? I know, so vote early, vote dead or alive, and vote often can become reality.

Even so, there seems to be some cracks in the foundation of liberal unity. Liberals rarely criticize other liberals. This is beginning to change as the following examples show.

Black ministers are speaking out against President Obama’s support of homosexual marriage even though the NAACP has gotten behind the President on the issue. Righteousness is beginning to trump political expediency. Maybe these same Black ministers will come to realize that liberal economic policies have failed as well.

The Catholic Church traditionally lean Democrat. The abortion and contraception dustup is changing some minds. “Warning that ‘fundamental rights hang in the balance,’ 43 Catholic dioceses and apostolate have filed lawsuits arguing that the mandated coverage of contraception in health-care plans is unconstitutional.” This is a good sign.

Are We Property Of The State Or Free Souls Under God- By Gary DeMar

Are We Property of the State or Free Souls Under God- by Gary DeMar over at Godfather Politics

Hollywood types just spent $40,000 a plate to meet and greet President Obama to help him with his re-election. The soiree was hosted by George Clooney. The majority of Hollywood types push a lawless agenda. They are involved in overturning the moral fabric of society in the name of “freedom.” Lawlessness in one area leads to lawlessness in all areas. Once the State is given the authority and power to overturn laws at the personal level, there is no stopping the State from overturning laws in every area.

Not everything that has come out of Hollywood has been bad even when those acting and directing lived sordid lives. Movie moguls of the past understood that their work had a moral component. This is why there are some moral movie gems among the dung. Consider the following from Cecil B. DeMille (1881–1959), American film director and Academy Award-winning film producer in both silent and sound films:

“Ladies and Gentlemen, young and old. This may seem an unusual procedure, speaking to you before the picture begins, but we have an unusual subject: the birth of freedom. The story of Moses.”

Those who watch The Ten Commandments (1956) on television never get to see DeMille appear on stage before the film begins. It’s almost never shown. You can only see it on the DVD version.

“Jesus Was A Commie” Says Movie Director Matthew Modine By Gary DeMar

“Jesus Was a Commie” Says Movie Director Matthew Modine by Gary DeMar over at Godfather Politics

“I think that you could define [Jesus] as a Utopian communist, where people would work together to solve our problems,” Modine told The Christian Post. I’m all for working together to solve our problems. But that’s not

Communism. Communism is forcing people to work for the goals of the State, and the State is a bunch of elites who claim they know what’s best for all of us. In the end, it’s these leaders who get the utopian spoils while the masses suffer.

Modine offers this simplistic reading of the Gospel accounts:

“According to the Bible, Jesus and his followers chose to own nothing, and shared their belongings. There were no needy people among them. Those who owned land or houses sold them, brought the money from the sales, put it at the Apostles’ feet, and it was distributed to anyone who had need. By this definition, Jesus and his followers were communists.”

The key word is “chose.” Being able to choose is not communism. In fact, Jesus’ disciples did not take a vow of poverty. Peter still owned a home in Capernaum (Matt. 8:14–17; Mark 1:29–31; Luke 4:38), and when he thought Jesus’ death ended it all for him, he returned to his family’s fishing business (John 21:1–14). Paul made his living as a tentmaker (Acts 18:1–3). Unlike Communists who covet what others have, Paul word with his own hands and used some of what he earned to help others (20:33–35). This can’t be done in a Communist system (Phil. 4:14–16). The list of attempts at failed Communist systems is a long one.[1]

Modine jumps outside the gospels and tries to make his case by an appeal to the actions of the early followers of Jesus in the book of Acts (2:44–45 and 4:32–37). R.J. Rushdoony puts the events in their proper historical context:

“The ‘communism’ of the early church, in Acts, was not economic in any sense, and should not be considered as an economic experiment. The church took seriously our Lord’s prophecy concerning the coming fall of Jerusalem (Matthew 24). They knew that they were living in a doomed city and country. The logical step of faith was to make liquid their assets for ready flight. Some who made liquid their assets dedicated their funds in part or whole to the church, for the evangelization of Judea before its destruction [Luke 21:20–24].

Let’s Not Ignore November Or Roll Over For Romney By Gary DeMar

Let’s Not Ignore November or Roll Over for Romney by Gary DeMar over at Godfather Politics

Mitt Romney is the presumptive GOP candidate who will face President Obama in November. I’m not happy about it, but it is what it is. I have to deal with it. Ron Paul supporters are hoping against hope that somehow he’s going to get the nomination. The best they can hope for is a brokered convention based on delegate counts. The popular vote doesn’t seem to be there.

We are left with Romney. So now what do we do? Many people won’t vote. If their candidate didn’t make it, they’re going to stay home and show their disdain for the GOP. While I can sympathize, it’s a big mistake. The presidency is not our government. We’re not a monarchy. If we had enough constitutionalists in the House and Senate, we could make any president a lame duck. He would be nothing more than a figurehead.

If you are not going to vote for Romney, then you need to double your efforts to get constitutionalists in office who will (1) support Romney when he’s right on an issue and (2) oppose him when he’s wrong. If Romney loses, the tactic is still applicable. Stopping Obama is priority number 1.

When we have a Republican President, Republican congressmen too often support any program he proposes. They want to be in good graces with the Republican establishment, be appointed to committees, and get reelected. It’s how we got No Child Left Behind, the Medicare Prescription Drug, Improvement, and Modernization Act (also called the Medicare Modernization Act or MMA), and the Iraq War.

Congressmen and Senators take an oath to uphold the Constitution, not the Republican Party. All candidates running for office should make it clear where their loyalties lie.

How Some Christians Contribute To Election Losses By Gary DeMar

How Some Christians Contribute to Election Losses by Gary DeMar over at Godfather Politics

Not long ago, I received an email from a woman who said that a friend of hers “claims to be on an extraordinarily intense spiritual ‘pilgrimage’ of ‘really pressing in to know God intimately’—but this guy has in effect divorced himself from the material world and from all relationships (including his wife and 10 children) which he views as a hindrance to his spiritual growth.”

Gnostics claim to have special knowledge (gnosis is the Greek word for “knowledge”) on how to live the Christian life that is not revealed to “ordinary Christians.”

God’s revelation in Scripture is not good enough or sufficient to give direction on how to live the Christian life. Of course, this refutes what the Bible says when it states that Scripture is “adequate” and equips the Christian “for every good work” (2 Tim. 3:17). She went on to say that this friend, a farmer, “was putting up hay recently and needed to get it in as they were expecting rain. Before he finished, he remembered that he had scheduled a Bible study, so he left his hay in order to keep the ‘spiritual’ duty. The rain came and the hay was lost, but he felt justified that he had chosen the higher calling.”

A feature of Gnosticism is the belief that there are two separate realms — “one spiritual, the other material. The spiritual realm, created by God, [is] all good; the material realm, created by the demiurge, [is] all evil. Man [needs] to be saved, not from Original Sin, but from enslavement to matter.”[1]

This leads some Christians not to believe in voting because voting is “of this world,” and as Christians we’re only to be engaged in truly spiritual activities. For the Gnostic, the material world is on a lower plane. Only “spiritual things” are useful and profitable.

How Liberal Democrats Use Tragedies to Divide Americans and Win Elections by Gary DeMar over at Godfather Politics

The killing of Trayvon Martin is tragic. I suspect, however, that few people know the whole story. This doesn’t matter to Democrats who are using the tragedy to fire up their liberal base, especially among those in the Black community. Even President Obama has gotten involved. “If I had a son, he’d look like Trayvon,” Obama said. Race has become the issue. Consider this description of the alleged killer by a Reuters news story:

Seventeen-year-old Trayvon Martin, dressed in a “hoodie” sweatshirt, was shot dead a month ago in Sanford, Florida by a 28-year-old white Hispanic neighborhood watch volunteer who said he was acting in self-defense.

A “white Hispanic”? When have you ever heard of someone described as a “white Hispanic”?

Democrats and so-called Black leaders say little about black-on-black crime, drive-by shootings, and gang violence in the Black community. Why? There is no political capital to be gained. Have you ever heard about Derrion Albert, a black 16 year old honor student who was killed in Chicago In September of 2009? Albert was killed by other blacks when he attempted to help a victim in a fight between two rival black gangs.

Rush Limbaugh’s Sandra Fluke Moment May Have Brought Down The Liberal Establishment By Gary DeMar

Rush Limbaugh’s Sandra Fluke Moment May Have Brought Down the Liberal Establishment by Gary DeMar over at Godfather Politics

In a previous article, I told how my wife and I cancelled our Sleep Number Bed after the company stopped advertising on the Rush Limbaugh Show. We ordered a Dream Number bed instead. We’ve had two glorious nights of sleep on it. We’re sleeping better because of the bed and because in a very small way we made a statement.

The online computer backup company Carbonite also bailed on Rush’s show as an advertiser. I’ve spoken with a lot of people who would like to drop Carbonite, but they’re locked into year-long contracts. Carbonite stock continues to drop as the stock market continues to rise. “[A]ccording to Terry Ponick of the Washington Times, [Carbonite] now sits at 60% off a 2011 high mark in a difficult market.”

Of course, I’m NOT elated that Carbonite stock has fallen, because the people who are hurt by the stock drop are investors who had no decision-making power to leave the Rush Limbaugh Show as an advertiser. But you’ve got to believe that liberals are shocked by listener reaction to Rush’s show, and for that I am elated.

People who vote with their money is the ultimate act of political defiance. When the checks stop coming, a company has to retool. That’s why liberals want to control every part of the economy. They can’t leave anything to chance. If they can control the media, the voter rolls, the polling data, and how our tax dollars are spent they believe they can control the country. The one item they have not been able to control, at least not yet, is how people spend their money and the free flow of information, something they are trying to control.

Democrats Are Oil Obstructionists

Democrats are Oil Obstructionists by Gary DeMar over at Godfather Politics

Oil is a national security issue. Without oil, America does not move. There’s a scene in the film Battle of the Bulge showing Nazi efforts to commandeer a huge fuel depot. In order to advance their ground troops, the Nazis had to secure Allied fuel supplies for their tanks, trucks, and planes. Germans lacked sufficient fuel reserves to reach Antwerp. Armies and economies run on fuel. Wind, solar, and battery power will not cut it.

The majority of Americans seem to understand this. It’s a huge campaign issue. Not only is oil the lifeblood of our nation’s economy, it’s a huge job producer as well. The oil and gas industries employ, on the low side, 2.2 million people. This doesn’t count the thousands of jobs that depend on petroleum products for their industries:

It might be one of the biggest issues in the upcoming presidential election. . . . CBS News exit polls found 77 percent of those voting in seven Super Tuesday states say rising gas prices were an important factor in their vote.

The poll reflects growing consumer anxiety as gas prices have risen nearly 50 cents a gallon in just over two months.

Consumers have been telling us they are cutting corners because for most driving is a necessity.

Dear Rush- “Why I Canceled My Select Number Bed”

Gary DeMar stated in this post how I feel about this incident. I am however going to add I will not be doing business Proflower or Carbonite plus the other sponsors that left Rush. It seems to me if their not loyal enough to people they sponsor it shows me they wouldn’t be loyal o their customers.

Dear Rush- “Why I Canceled My Select Number Bed” by Gary DeMar over at Godfather Politics

Dear Rush:

I know you apologized for calling 30-year-old Sandra Fluke a “slut” and a “prostitute.” The language was certainly over the top. I know what you were thinking. Sometimes people need to be hit over the head with a 2×4 before something sinks in.

Before the watching world Ms. Fluke told us that she was sleeping around. Promiscuity and sex before marriage were once considered social taboos. No one denied that people engaged in these types of sexual encounters, but such women were generally looked down upon. I can remember people saying, “It’s OK to have sex with these types of girls, but they’re not the ones you bring home to your parents and eventually marry.”

Like you, I have reminded people that the larger issue is not about contraception. I just read a Christian Science Monitor article that continues to perpetuate the lie that conservatives want to deny women contraceptives. We don’t. We just don’t want to have our money taken from us to pay for them. If Ms. Fluke wants to engage n promiscuous sex, then she should pay for it. I don’t want to be an unwilling accomplice to her immorality and stupidity.

I’ve gotten to the point in my life that I would be willing to pay for contraceptive devices for women like Ms. Fluke if they promise never to have children. The thought of them breeding is disturbing.

The News Is Not All Bad

Once Gary DeMar put that way it does look a little better.

The News is Not all Bad by Gary DeMar over at Godfather Politics

There’s still hope for America! It’s going to be a bumpy ride, but we can’t let political potholes get in the way of making a sea change in Washington. I’ve said this before — the presidency is not the only battlefront. We might not like what we’re going to get in November at the top if the ticket to take on Obama and Co., but we can’t stay home. There are congressional seats to consider. If Obama wins, the House and Senate will be where the war will be fought.

We can make a statement to the GOP establishment by putting in more conservatives at the congressional level to (1) keep Obama in check if he wins (2) keep Romney in check if he wins. As it looks right now, it’s going to be Romney. This means we must double-down on the congressional races.

Bill Maher Should Be Wearing A Swastika

I agree with Gary DeMar Bill Maher should wear a Swastika. Everything Maher says is Nazi like. He is a ugly person and I don’t mean in looks.

Bill Maher Should be Wearing a Swastika by Gary DeMar over at Godfather Politics

I don’t watch HBO’s Real Time with Bill Maher, but I do read some of the awful things he says on his show. Maher can be partially excused because he’s doing the show to make money. What’s more frightening is the audience response to some of his Nazi-like antics. A History channel special on the “Rise and Fall of the Third Reich” and the book An Eye for an Eye by John Stake struck me that Nazi tactics are alive and well in America among Liberal “Entertainers” and “Progressive” pundits.

What happened in a civilized nation like Germany that led to the wholesale slaughter of millions of people and zombie-like allegiance to a madman like Adolf Hitler? Much of it came down to rhetoric. Demeaning language was key to dehumanization, something Maher specializes in.

Stake writes the following in the Preface to his book An Eye for an Eye:

“I wouldn’t report that a Jew had beaten a German, tortured a German, or killed a German until the reader could understand why the Jew had done it and even could think, If I’d been that Jew, I’d have done it myself. . . .”[1]

“Linsanity” And The Underground Rebellion

Jeremylin

“Linsanity” and the Underground Rebellion by Gary DeMar over at Godfather Politics

I’m not a big basketball fan. Never have been and probably never will be. But because I write for a living, I try to keep up with everything that’s going on in the world. Last night, I sat next to a guy at one of my favorite restaurants. I engaged him in conversation about his new Samsung phone, found out that he was an engineer for the nuclear industry, and was able to talk about the new Vogtle nuclear plants that will be coming online in Georgia in a few years.

But back to basketball.

Jeremy Lin is the newest sport phenomenon. He’s a point guard for the New York Knicks. He’s Harvard educated and was not drafted out of college. In fact, he didn’t receive a scholarship out of high school. He sat on the bench for the Knicks until about a week ago. Lin is one of the few Asian Americans in NBA history, and the first American player in the league to be of Chinese or Taiwanese descent.

Is the Obama Administration Using Gestapo Tactics?

Is the Obama Administration Using Gestapo Tactics- by Gary DeMar over at Godfather Politics

Here’s the way politics works: Liberals overreach and conservatives compromise. In the end Liberals win. Liberals will propose a ten percent tax increase, and Republicans will settle for five, the very number Democrats hoped to get. It might take Liberals longer to get to their goal, but they know that eventually they’ll reach it. They can always count on Republicans to compromise.

What’s true on taxes is also applies to religion. There’s a provision in the health care law which requires religious employers to provide insurance coverage for contraceptives. John Boehner called the rule “an unambiguous attack on religious freedom in our country. If the president does not reverse the department’s attack on religious freedom, then the Congress, acting on behalf of the American people and the Constitution we are sworn to uphold and defend, must,” Boehner said.

Then there’s the accusation that military chaplains were forbidden to read a letter to military personnel about the mandate. Now we’re hearing that the controversy may have been “overblown.”

Did the Obama Administration purposely overreach figuring that the Republicans will broker a compromise? The Administration will get some of what it wants, set a precedent, and the Republicans will leave the negotiating table declaring victory that they were able to get some concessions. In the end, new regulations will force the church to comply with some of the regulations or face sanctions. Republicans will say that the church needs to compromise. Liberals will come back for more at a later time. They won’t stop until they silence the church. We’ve seen this before.

Hitler Would Have Loved the Obama Administration

Hitler Would Have Loved the Obama Administration by Gary DeMar over at Godfather Politics

I just got back from speaking at a Christian Worldview conference. I addressed the issue of Christian activism and the excuses Christians use for not getting involved. While the conference was going on, news was coming out that the church may have awakened from its slumber:

Catholic leaders . . . [threatened] to challenge the Obama administration over a provision of the new health care law that would require all employers, including religious institutions, to pay for birth control. . . . Catholic leaders are furious and determined to harness the voting power of the nation’s 70 million Catholic voters to stop a provision of President Barack Obama’s new heath care reform bill that will force Catholic schools, hospitals and charities to buy birth control pills, abortion-producing drugs and sterilization coverage for their employees.

If religious institutions give into this, they won’t be able to stop this administration or future administrations silencing and neutralizing the church.

Don’t Lose Hope Living Under Obama (or Romney)

Don’t Lose Hope Living Under Obama (or Romney) by Gary DeMar over at Godfather Politics

Conservatives are getting disillusioned. The Republican candidates are not inspiring a majority of voters. The candidates are attacking one another rather than the real target – the Marxist policies of Barack Obama. The one good thing about the wrangling is that it’s making Mitt Romney sound more conservative. He’s taking more conservative positions in order to lure people to his side.

Homosexuals stole the word “gay” and the rainbow, but don’t let Obama steal hope. It’s time to deal with reality.

Newt Gingrich is just not likeable. I’m sorry, but likeability is a big deal in politics, especially when it comes to people who know very little about the issues. Female voters bolted from Gingrich in Florida. That’s a bad sign.

Santorum does not come across as presidential. He may be a nice guy and have a great story, but some of his votes as a Senator and support of Arlen Specter against Pat Toomey in the 2004 Pennsylvania Senate race are huge problems for conservatives.
