There Is no two ways about it, this Libya incident is making the Obama Administration and Hillary Clinton look like their covering something up. Could it be they have blood on their hands?

Chris Stevens, the slain American ambassador to Libya, feared he was on an al Qaeda hit list days before he was killed, according to a controversial CNN report based on his personal journal.

A senior adviser to Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton blasted the network, saying it broke a pledge to Stevens’ family by using material from the journal, which it said it found in an unsecured section of the US Consulate in Benghazi three days after the Sept. 11 violence.

The report — which did not include direct quotes from the personal material — said the veteran diplomat also worried about increasing extremism in Libya.

Did you know that Texas is the only state in the country that has a clause in their state constitution that says that they have the right to secede from the union? I wonder what would happen if they decided to choose to exercise that clause and declare themselves to be a free and sovereign country of their own?

 

I don’t think it will come to that, but they are on the verge of starting a political war that just may make some Texans start to think about seceding.

 

Thomas Suehs, Commissioner of Texas Health and Human Services signed a new state regulation that will formally prohibit all abortion providers including Planned Parenthood, from participating in the state’s Women’s Health Program. The new regulation was passed by Texas lawmakers and endorsed by Greg Abbott, Texas Attorney General.

I just got back from speaking at a Christian Worldview conference. I addressed the issue of Christian activism and the excuses Christians use for not getting involved. While the conference was going on, news was coming out that the church may have awakened from its slumber:

 

Catholic leaders . . . [threatened] to challenge the Obama administration over a provision of the new health care law that would require all employers, including religious institutions, to pay for birth control. . . . Catholic leaders are furious and determined to harness the voting power of the nation’s 70 million Catholic voters to stop a provision of President Barack Obama’s new heath care reform bill that will force Catholic schools, hospitals and charities to buy birth control pills, abortion-producing drugs and sterilization coverage for their employees.

 

If religious institutions give into this, they won’t be able to stop this administration or future administrations silencing and neutralizing the church.
