Three U.S. senators will campaign for Richard Mourdock in Fort Wayne on Wednesday afternoon.
Republican senators Dan Coats of Indiana, Rob Portman of Ohio and John Cornyn of Texas will join Mourdock, the GOP candidate for an Indiana Senate seat, at the launch of the "Right Track Tour" at 4:15 p.m. at Allen County Republican Party Headquarters.
Indiana Republican Party Chairman Eric Holcomb, who also will attend the event, said in a statement: "More jobs, less debt and lower taxes. That's the right track. That's what Indiana Republicans like Richard Mourdock stand for."
Holcomb said Wednesday's news conference will be the first of dozens of events in Indiana "to highlight our outstanding team of candidates."
