The occupy wall street movement is being co-opted to usher in something sinister. The OWS movement ideology is quite fragmented, this makes the movement quite vulnerable. Unions and banker funded organizations like Acorn and Moveon.org are already moving into capture the movement. Should one of them manage to organize and be the voice of the protesters, we will be in trouble as their next move is to use the people against themselves.”

Why unions hurt the middle class by David A. Nace over at Canada Free Press

For decades we have been told that unions help the middle class. We have heard it from unions, from politicians that receive union contributions and from a sympathetic media. However, when one examines the facts this claim is completely false.

 

How can an organization that represents a small minority the workforce, just over 10%, but whose actions force the other 90% to pay higher prices for everything they purchase and in addition, higher local, state and federal taxes, claim they are helping the middle class? Yet that is exactly the claim that unions and their political supporters have made for decades.

 

Even in times of greatly expanding union membership, the middle class paid a price for union expansion through higher unemployment and higher prices. Starting in 1933, FDR used the National Industrial Recovery Act (NRA) to encourage companies to establish cartels in most industries and set the minimum prices that could be charged in exchange for favorable unionization policies in their companies. These policies more than doubled the number of union members in just one decade. The Supreme Court ruled that the NRA was unconstitutional 2 years later, but the damage had already been done.

Left Wing Bullying

 

1)  I don’t get it. How can Senator Barbara Boxer say Komen caving in on Plan Parenthood funding was “Women’s health triumph over right wing politics” When it was left wing bullying that trampled on some ones rights to choose who they want to donate to or not. The left wing is getting out of control.

 

2)  Left wing bullying is getting out of hand. Their bullying Yahoo to censor comments. Bowing to the folks at GLAAD, Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation, Yahoo! has been removing anti-homosexual comments from its website.  The left wing have become freakin’ terrorist.

 

3)  Nancy Pelosi declares she’ll join her fellow Catholics in  their near-unanimous support of Obama’s insurance mandate. She thinks it was a very courageous decision on Obama’s mandate Catholic charities provide free abortifacients for its employees.  I think Nancy Pelosi should be excommunicated. She is a disgrace to the Catholic church for supporting Obama in his bullying tactic.

 

4)  Union thugs and Occupy Whatever are such good little apparatchiks to Comrade Obama. They plan on gracing the CPAC with their bullying charm. What these two groups need is good swift kick in the butt and time in prison.

I Am Joining The Fed Up Party

 

Move over Senator McCain I am joining your “Fed Up” Party. My reasons are:

• I am fed up with Obama.
• I am fed up with the Occupy This and That fiasco.
• I am fed up with the Occupy This and That saying their peaceful when evidence says otherwise.
• I am fed up with waiting for Eric Holder to resign. When is someone going to give him the boot.
• I am fed up with Obama’s lies that I can scream.
• I am fed up with Democrats’ “lala land” talk. I think some of them did too many drugs when they were younger.
