It seems Iran is persecuting people to be persecuting. You can’t defend a client because you can go to jail too. Hello, what is wrong with that picture?
Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani is under arrest and under a sentence of death due to his belief in Christianity and not Islam. Now his attorney Mohammad Ali Dadkhah has been sentenced to 9 years in prison.
Prominent human rights advocate and attorney Mohammad Ali Dadkhah, who represents the Christian pastor sentenced to death in Iran in a case that sparked international condemnation, has reportedly been sentenced to nine years in jail for allegedly “acting against national security” in Iran.
Dadkhah has represented several political and human rights activists jailed since Iran’s 2009 disputed elections, including Youcef Nadarkhani, the Iranian pastor charged with apostasy and sentenced to death for leaving Islam and converting to Christianity.
“I have been convicted of acting against the national security, spreading propaganda against the regime and keeping banned books at home,” Dadkhah told the Guardian. Dadkhah has also reportedly been banned from teaching at universities or practicing law for 10 years.
It is being screamed at us from pulpits in Churches and Synagogues that Judaism, Christianity and Islam all worship the same G-d. But do we really?
How many times have you heard it said “we all pray to the same god?” These days we are hearing this from a growing number of people. To some degree one can excuse the average person from espousing such a viewpoint, as most people have not read the Bible and are not well schooled in matters of theology or eschatology.
However, what’s troubling is that in recent years a growing number of religious leaders are promoting this view. Such a statement strongly suggests the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, who Christians and Jews believe in, is the same as Allah, who Muslims believe in. One doesn’t have to look very far to discover why this view is problematic.
The “Shahada,” which is the statement of faith for the followers of Allah, reads, “there is no god but Allah, and Mohammed is his prophet.” This statement clearly differentiates Allah from any other “god.”
For Christians and Jews no city is more holy than Jerusalem. Mohammed showed reverence for Jerusalem when he was trying to convert the Banu Qurayza Jews to follow Allah. Yet after failing in his conversion effort, he turned his back toward Jerusalem, and never again faced it when praying. Eventually, after breaking a treaty with them to which he was party, he massacred approximately 900 of them in 627 AD.
The Quran, which is the holy book of Allah’s followers, says “the religion in the sight of Allah is Islam.” As this makes it clear a believer in Allah must follow Islam, one might ask if other religions are tolerated. According to the Quran, “if anyone desires a religion other than Islam, never will it be accepted…” So much for Islam’s tolerance of other religions.
Bettina Viviano is a Conservative successful Hollywood producer who, in 2008, agreed to help friends of Hillary Clinton film a documentary on the fraud in the Democrat elections in 2008. I have a loose, partial transcript below (because videos have a way of disappearing from the Internet), but want to point out a few things of interest to me, and to help you cut to the bottom line. 1) The film was never finished. It was taken to the DNC at some point, with the thought that once they saw it, they would undo what was being done. They were wrong.
2) There is a co-owner of the film, with Viviano, and the co-owner is a Democrat and a filmmaker. She has been threatened.
3) At least Viviano still intends to finish the film. They were in talks with Andrew Breitbart before his death. PJMedia has contacted them, along with other people.
4) For the film, they interviewed WOMEN FROM TRINITY UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST (TUCC) – the church where Barack and Michelle Obama supposedly were members. It has long been a mystery to me, why from this huge church, no member has EVER said a single thing about the Obamas. My thought was, no one said anything because no one knew them. They were members only for political opportunity – no sharing a pew, no potluck dinners. They did have a close personal relationship with Jeremiah Wright, but seldom if ever attended. That was my thought. Maybe it’s more than that. After all this is Chicago, and everyone knows about the Chicago machine. The women Viviano interviewed were scared. Their faces could not be shown in the film – but they were interviewed.
5) Viviano calls out attorney Gloria Allred and her part in Democrat party shenanigans.
The unemployment rate we are fed each month is manipulated – fake, phony, false – not realistic, and the methods for determining the unemployment rate was new as of the January 2012 numbers. The real unemployment rate today is somewhere north of 10%. In January, when the unemployment rate dropped to 8.3%, the main stream media failed to report that the numbers, “seasonally adjusted,” for a one year period, were all applied to one month – January 2012.

What happens is almost a do over, starting with the next year and you see a huge discontinuity in the data when the Census has been incorporated into the non-institutional population statistic. Believe me, we did not get a streaming horde of illegal aliens in one month, nor did everyone decide to give spontaneous birth. Those spikes simply represent the tacking on of population controls to reflect the latest Census.
BEIRUT: The Beirut River mysteriously turned blood red Wednesday after a stream of unidentified red liquid began pouring from the southern bank of the river in Furn al-Shubbak. The source of the liquid had yet to be determined Wednesday evening, as the river continued to empty the red-colored water into the Mediterranean Sea.
Government and local officials rushed to the scene at the Chevrolet crossing of Furn al-Shubbak Wednesday morning in an attempt to locate the sewage canal that was dumping the red-colored water but they were unable to locate the source. Accusations were traded among officials from the municipalities of Hadath, Hazmieh, Sin al-Fil, Furn al-Shubbak and Shiyah.
Eyewitnesses working in the area told The Daily Star this was not the first time the river had turned a different color. Several business owners around the Chevrolet crossing said that colored water pours into the river roughly every two months but no one pays attention to it.It was the quantity and brightness of the red liquid that grabbed the attention of many passersby and commuters on different bridges in the city Wednesday.
With only Mitt Romney and Ron Paul on the Virginia ballot, the plan to derail Romney is for you, there in Virginia, to cast your primary vote for Ron Paul, and deny Romney the electoral votes, but doing nothing for Ron Paul in the race to the nomination. The Conservative blogosphere is belching Romney-resistance.
The dawning of a third party…next time around, is on the horizon, with the naming of such a party being chatted. I favor The Conservative Party, which already has some presence as you can register as a Conservative in New York. But I digress. Not important at this moment. The point is, as Congressman Allen West said this week, Conservatives will no longer be punching bags for the establishment elite. Decades past time to stand on principle.
Dan Riehl is framing the argument: ”It’s insane for Conservatives to back Romney in the General Election.” Riehl will not vote for Romney.
I’ll be quitting [the GOP] the day they coronate this scheming snake Romney. One hard-to-swallow strategy at that point would be to simply ignore the presidential contest this fall and fully concentrate on obtaining powerful congressional majorities to control and contain Obama (since Mittens is going to lose in the general anyway)… meanwhile, the investigations continue.
I have been rereading Winds of War by Herman Wouk. I read it many years ago and remembered liking it. I was struck by the story of a WWII German submarine attacking a British Royal Navy compound at Scapa Flow at night, sinking a British battleship. I didn’t recognize the name Scapa Flow, so did some investigating and found that the event was real, as were the entire details of the event. As I’ve moved through the book, I’ve continued checking names and events and find that the book is solid historical fiction. At my place in the book now, Germany violated their pact with Russia in 1941 and put the Soviets underseige, where eventually Germany lost. This brings me to a video-documentary that I found online – free, about the the Russian people and their yearning for ‘people power,’ a false hope that decimated the country under Communism.

For three years we have listened to Obama drone on-and-on about equality, spreading the wealth, a fair playing-field, a level playing-field, and becoming more like Europeans. His background is deeply meshed in Communism, and the video I watched is, wait for it…Communism.
You may remember the name Van Irion in the 2010 elections. Van was running for the House seat for Tennessee’s 3rd District. He lost in the primary to Republican Chuck Fleishmann who is now on Capitol Hill. Irion, an attorney, and veteran of Operation Desert Storm, and went on to found the Liberty Legal Foundation. He is working with John Drummett, a computer programmer for the State of California, through Liberty Legal, to sue the Democrat National Committee and chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz. The goal is to show that the DNC is not trustworthy in certifying presidential candidates, and to change the process so that State’s can rely on DNC certification. Once the DNC sends the certification to each state, the State has no recourse but to accept the certification and place the name on the ballot. Also of interest regarding this lawsuit, is that the Plaintiffs believe impeachment is not an option for a usurper, because impeachment is redress only for a “legally elected” president.
