There is much being revealed as the campaign heats up. Some of it is going to be profoundly disturbing. I heard such today. I won't repeat it. I'll let others. I am coming to the conclusion that if we don't stop the headlong plunge we are on right now as a nation, no matter how weak the alternative, how flawed, how imperfect he is, the country you grew up in will cease to exist. It will die. Is that worth inquiring about or will we all just whistle as we head for the graveyard of history. Not passing by.

 

A question was asked by someone else:

Is it possible that we are fighting the inevitable? Is it possible this is what 'musts be' according to apocalyptic scripture? Is the demise of the US as a world power part of the Lord's plan for Israel to become totally dependent on Him and turn to Him, in lieu of her allies? As prophets, ought we not be seeking the Lord about 'what meaneth this?' Seriously and honestly, I am praying into this. Not as a throwing in the towel deed, but as a recognition that greater purposes are at work that I have no power to change. Is it time to sound THAT shofar and rejoice? I am in and of the Kingdom. I am the Lord's. I and mine will be cared for. This I know but as the Lord speaks, we must prepare His people.

When Moses came down from the Mount after meeting face to face with God, he stood between an angry God and an unrepentant people, not willing to give up on them. His appeal to God came even tho God promised to raise up a great nation from HIS line (Levite) ... all Moses had to do was get out of the way and watch. After all, HE was secure in HIS relationship... maybe that was what God was interested in after all... but Moses had the intestinal fortitude (guts) to stand between God and the total destruction of Israel, reminding God of His promises. We today have an obligation to others to "stand in the gap" for our country. God is not willing that ANY should perish. Have we come so far from valuing life that we say, "good riddance - kill 'em all and let God sort it out?" It has become so easy to rationalize away an out and out rejection of God in the workplace, in "polite" society and even in the church that we do listen to God's voice predicting impending judgment and instead go directly against Him. (Jer. 6:16) May God have mercy on US.

Yes, you heard me right. I am a fraud if you think I am somehow better or superior to anyone else as a man. I am as flawed a person as you might find. It grieves me up that I am so weak in so many ways. I wish I could live up to even half my press releases. But I can't. I'm a fraud.

So are you.

So were all the men who gave up all to follow Jesus. They were weak, sometimes clumsy and very flawed. They saw Jesus die and rise again. Yet they had fear. Even AFTER the Holy Spirit was poured out, there were spells where they failed to live up to what we might have expected of them.

This came to me overnight as I pondered the note of a friend calling out a national televangelist as a fraud. It's an appellation towards him that I might even agree with. I don't think much of this man. Yet, to call him a fraud sweeps a wide brush over all of us. Who isn't a fraud?

I have known personally many highly visible men and women of God in my decades as a Christian. Some who I even admire. If I called their names you would be impressed or think I was name dropping. The truth is, the closer you get to "greatness" the more you come to the awareness that they/we are all flawed.

The tendency to learn how to put on a well pressed suit just zipped out of the bag with a fresh shower and coiffed hair to do a 3 hour dog and pony show complete with a love offering means we don't get to know them for who they really are. Flawed. Frauds if you like.

I have developed a great affection for and admiration of Apostle John Eckhardt. There are a lot of reasons, but one is that in spite of the horrible examples some of our national leaders have been, he is willing to go into their camps, minister to them and be a friend. I have been less then that in toleration of what I see as foolishness. I am learning to be more agape in my love of my fellow workers in the Kingdom. If I get to complete sanctification I might even learn to accept someone who votes for democrats. (A little prophetic humor).

IF we examine the life of Paul as revealed in his epistles and in the Book of Acts you will see him often referring to himself in his weakness, inadequacy, fumbling, sin, pride and anger. Romans 7, 2 Corinthians 11-12 and a dozen other places.

If Paul were of a truth today, he would say of himself, "I'm a fraud" BUT... I am Paul, an Apostle, sent one, given by God as a gift to serve you.

Can we say any more or less? "I'm a fraud", but I am Gene, a Prophet given by God as a gift to serve you.

Maybe it's about time we get over our own bad self...and let HIM Shine THRU us?

That is a word for someone today. It was for me.

Those who buy into well packaged deception in every arena are the most gullible and subject to becoming enslaved by the deceiver. The devil thrives on souls who believe his lies. He is the ultimate bait and switch master; The sleight of hand expert that uses diversion to mask his every evil move.

The deception most easily missed is when he uses perception distorted by his lies to cause his people to follow his unwitting minions to perdition.
He uses distorted eschatology to deceive. Many of the most deceived are those who have bought into a picture formed by intense dispensational interpretation. Rejecting all dispensational teaching without recognizing the historic patterns of deception by the enemy is an opposite and equal deception.

Deception can be trust in a man. God spoke thru his prophet Jeremiah 17:5

This is what the LORD says: "Cursed are those who put their trust in mere humans, who rely on human strength and turn their hearts away from the LORD.

This is one of those articles you read and feel like a sledgehammer hit ya in the head. Well, at least with me anyways. Lord, please help me to do right.

This morning as I was meditating on some events of the last few days the Lord said,

"What you are seeing in your spirit is the manifestation of the kingdoms to which people have subjected themselves."

As Christians we all believe we are part of the Kingdom of God and are subjects. That at one level may be true, at least in confession. Yet, there are good people who call themselves Christ Followers who are of another kingdom. Paul the apostle called it another gospel preached of another kingdom:

But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned! Galatians 1:8

I have heard this preached about in many iterations. Mostly having to do with faith, works and salvation. That is true..but there is more. Much more. Jesus identified the Gospel to be taught as the Gospel of the Kingdom:

And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. Matthew 24:14

The hair splitters that define denominational differentiation as "Another Gospel" are mislead and are misleading. The gospel according to Jesus and according to Paul is the Gospel of the Kingdom.

Look out for the false flag yet to come late summer or fall. It will be divisive. It will be a near crisis. It will be designed to divert attention from the real issues of the day and of the election. It will have racist under tones, class warfare and an attack on the "Rich". It will divide the nation even more and mask the things that have offended many last time Obama voters into rethinking their next vote. Everything they have been angry with him about (gay marriage) will pale in comparison with what this "Crisis" will be. Trayvon Martin was a test run. The pattern is now set. It MUST happen. IF there is no manufactured media driven crisis the election will be lost and Obama will be out of work. He will start his 99 weeks of unemployment on Jan 20, 2013-- unless. SO look for it, watch for it, discern it. The false flag is on the way. I will call it when I see it, but you'll know it when it appears.

We are there again.

 

Three years of very difficult times. Economic drought. Government unable to do anything about it. Persecution. Corruption. False Religion. Worship of BAAL (prosperity) along with a nominal worship of the Living God.

 

The priests of BAAL have once again erected an altar on a high place. It's an abomination. It's dependence on other than the Living God. It's a false religion. Some is Government. Some is business. Some is simply people's willingness to be duped.

 

This has placed even serious Christians in a time of drought. They are starving, spiritually and physically.

 

Today, modern Elijahs are once again saying, it can rain again. We don't have to live like this.

 

The modern priests of BAAL will not go peaceably. The modern Jezebels and Ahabs are unwilling to be displaced without a struggle.

 

They have used lies and deception too long in order to remain on the throne of your life.

 

It's time for a confrontation that will result in the destruction of the Altars, in the consumption of our offering and in the elimination of all the priests.

 

Don't expect to be welcomed. They will say to you, "Is that YOU you troubler of Israel?" Israel in this case is the local church in which the BAAL altar is high. They will not be happy to see you.

When you have been put in chains by a lie, there is a familiar pattern to the prison:

• You can no longer make decisions based on what you want, you are at the whim of those who insist they make them for you.

• You are told what to eat, when, where and how much. Choice is no longer yours.

• Your housing is all paid for, but it is much less then you hoped for when you dreamed of life for your family

• Your fellow prisoners keep telling you that they have this figured out, that there is a way to game this thing for benefit.

• You would go outside your Cell, but the violence and murder in the area is too much.

• You have to be very careful what you say, even what you say in private is monitored.

• You are not allowed to defend yourself at any level. Your warden is assigned to defend you...but he doesn't do a great job of it.

• You are allowed to go out in the yard on occasions where you can bask in the sun and pretend things are OK...but you know in your heart something is wrong.

• You are promised favors because you act a certain way. You are still expecting that favor. It isn't coming, but you keep hoping.

• Everyone around you tells you this is the new normal, this is the way it is, and you can't change it.

• When you talk to others about the situation they blame everyone and everything else. This warden blames the system. It's all someone else.

I am watching with my own eyes the consequences of what a lie bought by Christians and in particular Christian leaders can do.

 

IF you buy into a little lie, a little misdirection, a little culturally acceptable but out of Line with God idea, you are opening a door to demonic influence and eventual rule. It happens faster and more insidiously than anyone can believe.

IF you buy into a lie, you give permission to come and put you in bondage, as real as any chain could ever be.

 

Jesus came to bring truth..but the truth is too hard for most Christians to accept or live. So we buy the lie. The deception currently roaring thru the Body of Christ is amazing. What's worse, identifying the lie and the liars doesn't help. People never want to believe they have been deceived. "How could that be", They say, They get their praise on every Sunday and on Monday they willingly parrot the lies they are hearing.

 

It's only when they are finally in chains, locked up, broken down, then you can come to them and walk them out of the lies that put them in chains. It takes a Pig Pen experience to turn a Prodigal towards home. Lots of Prodigal Churches, Ministries, Pastors and Senior Leaders are headed for Pig Pen City. The wardens are waiting with chains and shackles. I would warn you of this, but you must have ears to hear. You don't.

In the last month I am seeing in the spirit a clear pattern. The darkness is deepening. Deception is growing. People are being lulled into complacency or stirred into action without cause. Even the very elect are being blinded.

This is not an indictment against those souls led astray, this is a defining of the assult of the darkness and what it will take to overcome.

Light.

 

When the light shines there is no darkness at all.

This is the message we heard from Jesus and now declare to you: God is light, and there is no darkness in Him at all. 1 John 1:5

If you needed life-saving surgery, which would you prefer – a skillful pagan with an evil eye for profit or an incompetent Christian with integrity of heart for service?

 

Do you think the Lord accepts this either/or dilemma? Absolutely not! I believe the Lord wants His servants to have skillful hands that are controlled by hearts of integrity.

 

I believe He wants His representatives to be the best in their respective fields. I believe He wants His people to be the most skilled at whatever He has called them to do for Him. I believe He sees the quality of our workmanship as a reflection on Him.

 

This word translated skilled means extraordinary expertise in an area.

 

Does this surprise anyone that the Lord wants us to be extraordinarily skilled in whatever He has called us to do? We understand that 2 Timothy 3:16-17 asserts that the Bible has all the truth that the man of God needs to accomplish his work for God. But we also all the facts or instruction that the man of God needs to accomplish his work for God.

 

The “craftsmanship,” the “skills” required for your line of work will no doubt require additional education, training, instruction, and practice. The Christian does not ignore or avoid secular training (read Proverbs 14:33), but he does evaluate it and apply it in accordance with biblical principles.

I awoke this morning and clearly heard:

That which I warned of has now manifest in the world. The elect, those who call My name, those who are ministers and shepherds are being shepherded by another voice. Many never knew My voice. They never knew the voice of the Shepherd. Many who once did have now allowed the voices that tickle their itching ears to silence My true voice. They are deceived into following another. This satisfies motivations of their flesh, motivations of their pride, motivations of their fear of man. They are becoming unknown to Me. There is a great divide occurring between in those who call themselves Christian and those who are truly Sons and Daughters. It will be a time of tearing. A time of separation. Chaff and tares will look much like wheat. Only the wind of My spirit will separate the impure from pure. The judgment I must bring will not be just for their own error, but multiplied for the error they impose as they lead others astray. These false shepherds have been falsely led and now lead others falsely. They no longer will bear sound doctrine. They have believed a lie. For this reason I will shame them. I will remove them. Some will come to their senses and ask how did this happen as they are humiliated? They have become blinded to the difference between righteousness and unrighteousness. They have become among those who call good evil and evil good. They have relied on their reason and intellect to allow the world to crush them into it's mold. They have become useless to ME and now I will expose and dispose of them. They are no longer profitable.

This is a much harder word than I usually bring, but I know it to be true. I live in terror that I might be weighed and found wanting. The judgment of God is about to act against those who are creating deception. Be not deceived. God is not mocked. The stench of our sin has risen up before him and cries out against us all.

One Year Later...the Revelation Manifested by Gene over at Gene-A Prophet

 

It was a cold winter night exactly one year ago tonight (the fifteenth actually). 79th and Ashland. Chicago. Crusaders Church. Apostle John Eckhardt was ministering prophetically (with another man). It was one of those precious prophetic flow nights. I needed a word...not from Apostle, from God. I was down, worried, troubled.

 

I had just been dealt a severe blow in my life. A customer had cheated me of nearly a hundred thousand dollars in payment due me. I am not a wealthy man. This was going to hurt. Not bankruptcy...but pain and difficulty. At my age and state of life this was going to change our lifestyle. I was fearful.

 

I was sitting in the building where I like to sit. Off to the right side of the platform, about ten rows back in the middle. As inconspicuous as a large older balding white man can be at Crusaders.

While the flow was going on, I was looking hard as the words were given to find something for myself. I was writing down what fit.

 

Suddenly I heard the Lord speak to me...clearly.

I won't try to explain how that happens, if you have had this happen, you will understand. If not, you will someday -- I hope. Not a booming voice, a rising sound in the Spirit coming from deep inside yet clearly from the outside of you. That's what is sounds like when God speaks. It is a voice of peace, joy, love, patience without condemnation but with light and revelation. The kind that drives saints to fall before Him prostrate in awe. He is constantly speaking to his people, audibly in the Spirit, we just aren't hearing Him.

This is NOT about plants...they are a metaphor.

 

This is NOT about the Church I attend, it's a place where revelation came.

 

Sunday in Church I watered the plants. Its what I do. I have been gone two weeks. Before I left I watered them. They hadn't had a drop to drink since and until I came back.

 

They might live. I hope so.

 

As I was going thru the process the Lord spoke to me.

Son, do you know why so many churches are adorned with plastic plants? It's a type of the religion that pervades these houses dedicated to Me. They are easy. Require no care. Disposable. Look nice but when they are shop worn are thrown in the dumpster. It's convenient.

 

I send people to them, they are broken, need care. Inconvenient. They don't know how to maintain life, even new birthed life, so the lives that come are wounded and many die. They substitute plastic religion and ceremony for the life giving living water of My Spirit. The people are thirsty for something real. Something alive. Something exceptional. They are hungry for the genuine. Being treated as something plastic in the pew is no longer acceptable in my sight.

 

How much more valuable than a plant are the precious ones I send...look to them

I considered this. Had asked if perhaps someone would look after the plants while I am gone. It was shuffled off to someone who doesn't do it but isn't accountable. Sort of like a visitation committee.

 

Prophetically I don't think we really understand the value of a single soul to God who sent his Son to suffer like a criminal on a cross for even ONE of his creation. Yet we treat them like the plastic plants in our sanctuaries. Stay silent we tell them. Don't demand much and if you leave, you leave. People are inconvenient. People are messy. People take a lot of care. Plastic would be so much easier.

 

This is NOT an indictment of anyone. It is a wake up call for me...to be very very careful to water well those who are just planted in the household of faith....like a green tree. Until their roots have gone deep and they feed from the river of living water, they will need nurture.

 

Let's be getter Gardeners in the Kingdom.
