I Thank God, I Don’t Have Cable Hook Up
Every time I see a title like this 'American Idol': Worship Obama, Not Jesus Christ I thank God my mom and I don’t have cable hook up.
It really is becoming a sorry state of affairs promoting someone whose polls are down. Their not going to get people to like Obama when his policies aren’t “winning friends and influencing people” unless your Liberal.
Their promoting someone (Obama) who doesn’t like his fellow Americans. Obama’s actions says so. Think of his love affair with radicals who hate America like Islam and Derrick Bell. Obama hasn’t stood up for his fellow Americans once that I recall. As a matter of fact, he has insulted us by calling us lazy, stupid.
It makes me wonder if these Hollywood people have the same dislike for their fellow Americans also. They sure do like our money though. It makes me think why should I buy their DVD’s, watch their TV shows, etc. when they go out of their way to insult us. I am not going to put my money in them. (I like the old Hollywood anyway, lol. I think John Wayne could beat George Clooney up any old day if he was still living, lol.)
About the Mainstream Media, this what I think of their protecting Obama and lying about him.
It is amazing how one little picture says it all, lol. I am thankful cable isn’t getting any of my money. I can do without the shows and media that are on cable. This is some stuff I had to release from my chest.

John Wayne, Josef Stalin, And Nikita Khrushchev
You're probably wondering why I put a post on John Wayne, Josef Stalin, and Nikita Khrushchev on this blog. The three men had nothing in common except Josef Stalin and Nikita Khrushchev were fans of John Wayne. I didn't know that until I did research on John Wayne for this blog. As far as my research goes, I don't recall any mention of Joseph Stalin and John Wayne meeting however Nikita Khrushchev did visit with John Wayne.
The reason why it I am posting this is because there was some drama between the three men.
You can say the drama was sort of on the political intrigue side. Stalin plotted against John Wayne even though he was a fan. There was Soviet documents found which revealed Stalin had ordered an assassination on John Wayne do to Wayne's strong anticommunist politics. Fortunately, for all concerned Stalin died before the order could be accomplished otherwise we would of miss some kid John Wayne acting.
Click save draft It was during one of Nikita Khrushchev's visits in 1959 that John Wayne found out about this order. Khrushchev got a chance to meet John Wayne to reveal Stalin's plot. Khrushchev also revealed he, himself, rescinded the order.

John Wayne-Congressional Gold Medal and Presidential Medal of Freedom
On May 26, 1979, John Wayne's status as an American icon became formally recognized by the United States Congress when he was awarded the Congressional Gold Medal. Hollywood figures and Americans from across the political spectrum testified to Congress why Wayne deserved the award. One of the most notable was Robert Aldrich, who stated "It is important for you to know that I am a registered Democrat and to my knowledge, share none of the political views espoused by Duke. However, whether he is ill disposed or healthy, John Wayne is far beyond the normal political sharp shooting in this community. Because of his courage, his dignity, his integrity, and because of his talents as an actor, his strength as a leader, his warmth as a human being throughout his illustrious career, he is entitled to a unique spot in our hearts and minds. In this industry, we often judge people , sometimes unfairly, by asking wether they have paid their dues. John Wayne has paid his dues over and over, and I'm proud to consider him a friend, and am very much in favor of my Government recognizing in some important fashion the contribution that Mr. Wayne has made."
Maureen O'Hara requested the words to be place on the medal. "John Wayne, American."
The medal was crafted by the United States Mint. One side of the medal is John Wayne riding on horseback. The other side a portrait of John Wayne with the words "John Wayne, American." The medal was present to Wayne's family on March 6, 1980 at the capitol of the United States. The medal is now at the John Wayne Museum in Winterset, Iowa.
On June 9, 1980, Wayne was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by former President Jimmy Carter.
John Wayne-Death
John Wayne died on June 11, 1979 of stomach cancer at UCLA Medical Center. He was buried at Pacific View Memorial Park cemetery in Corona del Mar. Wayne requested his tombstone to read "Feo, Fuerte y Formal" meaning "ugly, strong and dignified". The saying never happened. Wayne's grave went unmarked for twenty years. When his tombstone was marked, it wasn't with the phrase he wanted. It was marked with one of his quotation from his 'Playboy' interview: "Tomorrow is the most important thing in life. Comes to us at midnight very clean. It's perfect when it arrives and it puts itself in our hands. It hopes we've learned something from yesterday."
