My Thoughts About The USS Indiana And Ships That Met The Fate As She

 

I think it is sad that some of ships like the USS Indiana couldn’t be preserved to show our children and so forth down the line our naval history. I am not talking about as diving expedition preserve but a museum like the USS Hornet. Though I understand why they sunk The USS Indiana, some how it seemed like wasted history like the others.

I remember going to the Chicago Science and Industry Museum as a kid. I went through the real U-boat they displayed. I was so amazed by it. I think it is where I got my start of loving the history of ships and submarines. I see how I was amazed by the U-boat. I think how kids could be amazed by it too.

This is my opinion though.

P.S. I think this way about old houses too but it is another story.
