A Democrat Logansport Candidate Busted For Dealing Cocaine

 

It seems to me the Democrats are getting themselves in trouble all over the place even here in Indiana.

Logansport candidate busted for dealing cocaine by Staff reports, Journal And Courier

A Democratic state representative candidate was arrested Thursday on suspicion of dealing cocaine in Logansport.

Kerry N. Worthington, 52, is running against the Republican incumbent for the District 23 seat. The two-term Logansport councilman was arrested by Cass County Drug Task Force officers at his business Thursday afternoon.

According to a press release from the Cass County Sheriff’s Department:

Worthington is suspected of selling cocaine, a Class B felony, to a confidential informant. He was arrested on a warrant issued by Cass County Superior Court 2. He also faced additional charges of possession of marijuana and reckless possession of drug paraphernalia. Worthington’s bail was being held on $5,000 cash or $25,000 surety bond
